Fedora packages should no longer ship separate -el subpackages (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Emacs#Package_contents).

Thank you. Are you aware that you can submit pull requests? It is possible to do this here: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/nesc This would make it a lot easier to apply your change.

I'm aware of the pull requests, but they require one either to be a packager to upload them directly to src.fedoraproject.org, or one needs to upload them to an external website that supports smart Git transport, with the potential for hassle and bitrot.  Given the amount and frequency of my patches a slight barrier to apply them should not be a very huge problem, you just happen to be disproportionally affected by the current batch :-).
