Comment 3 Laura Abbott 2018-02-28 17:38:27 UTC
Can you file a bug at bugzilla.kernel.org? (Power management area -> hibernate/suspend) Doing a bisect would also be helpful.

Comment 4 Frank Büttner 2018-03-02 08:30:12 UTC
kernel-4.15.6-200.fc26.x86_64 also fails.

Comment 5 Frank Büttner 2018-03-12 17:53:10 UTC

Comment 6 Frank Büttner 2018-03-16 10:13:15 UTC
Today I have updates the firmware to 2.48 and tested again with the follow results:
Running on battery fails, but running on mains will work.

Can somebody very this?

Comment 7 Frank Büttner 2018-03-30 09:26:58 UTC
Today I tested the 4.16-rc7 vanilla kernel.
It looks this kernel will fix it.

Comment 8 Frank Büttner 2018-04-27 07:18:17 UTC
Today I tested kernel-4.16.3-200.fc27.x86_64
It will fail.

Comment 9 Frank Büttner 2018-04-27 08:58:10 UTC
Vanilla 4.16.5 also fail.

Comment 10 Frank Büttner 2018-04-27 10:56:14 UTC
Vanilla 4.17-rc2 -> fails
Vanilla 4.14.37  -> works

Comment 11 Frank Büttner 2018-06-08 08:40:19 UTC
Today I tested the Vanilla kernel 4.17.0 it looks better working.
The device will not freeze, but sometimes the sleep state will not enter correct.
Can somebody verify this?

Comment 12 Frank Büttner 2018-06-22 13:08:55 UTC
Yesterday I tested it with 4.18-rc1 an all was ok. The same for 4.17.2.
So please update the kernel to 4.17.2. or higher.

The kernel bug on kernel.org was closed.
