kernel-4.15.4-200.fc26.x86_64 have the same problem. same problem here with a t460p, (fwiw, I didn't manage to run lenovo firmware updates with usb method..) Can you file a bug at bugzilla.kernel.org? (Power management area -> hibernate/suspend) Doing a bisect would also be helpful. kernel-4.15.6-200.fc26.x86_64 also fails. kernel-4.15.7-200.fc26.x86_64 also fails. Today I have updates the firmware to 2.48 and tested again with the follow results: Running on battery fails, but running on mains will work. Can somebody very this? Today I tested the 4.16-rc7 vanilla kernel. It looks this kernel will fix it. Today I tested kernel-4.16.3-200.fc27.x86_64 It will fail. Vanilla 4.16.5 also fail. Vanilla 4.17-rc2 -> fails Vanilla 4.14.37 -> works Today I tested the Vanilla kernel 4.17.0 it looks better working. The device will not freeze, but sometimes the sleep state will not enter correct. Can somebody verify this? Yesterday I tested it with 4.18-rc1 an all was ok. The same for 4.17.2. So please update the kernel to 4.17.2. or higher. The kernel bug on kernel.org was closed. kernel-4.17.2-200.fc28 is on it's way to the stable repository as of this morning. Thanks for letting us know! |
