This is not an xorg-x11 bug. GNOME has a similar ability by pressing the right key combinations however. If you would like to see Xorg have such a feature natively, file an enhancement request in X.Org bugzilla, located at http://bugs.freedesktop.org and X.Org developers will review your request. If someone decides to implement this feature directly into X.Org after you file your request, it will be available in a future version of the X Window System. Setting status to "NOTABUG" OK. so what are the "right key combinations"? Why wouldn't GNOME just use the existing standards that have been around for many, many, years? > OK. so what are the "right key combinations"? The GNOME documentation might provide this information, however if you aren't able to find it in the docs, you might find fedora-list to be of assistance, or one of the public GNOME mailing lists or IRC forums. >Why wouldn't GNOME just use the existing standards that have been around for >many, many, years? One of the GNOME development forums provided by the GNOME project might be able to answer that for you. |
