Hi Laura, I have gone through doc and looks good to me, only one small suggestion. It's good to have one screeshot with vdo device.We are showing dashboard with no vdo device. I am attaching 2 screenshots may be you can include those if it make sense. In reply to Luara Bailey from comment #25 Laura, We have 2 Day 2 operations now which have been tested and work fine.They are :- (1)Expand CLuster (2)Create Volume. The link of the documents you have provided in comment #25 ,there is no concept and task information that describes available day 2 operations. Hi Laura, Attached cockpit day2 operations screen shorts.Please add in doc. Hi Laura, I wanted to add one more entry in "Expand Cluster". From https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1595323 Comment#1 For expand cluster user has to configure passwordless configuration. Can you please add in doc ? Hi Laura, This looks perfect to me, only one thing I think we missed is "Expand Cluster" success screen shot.If you can add this it will be good. The screen shot already i have attached i.e. expand-cluster-success In reply to #comment 45 Laura, The day 2 operation document looks good to me but we have 2 minor issues in the document as mentioned below : (a) Under sub topic 9.1 in first line alphabet 'i' is missing in word 'information' . (b) Under sub topic 'Expanding the hyperconverged cluster by adding a new volume on new nodes using Cockpit' (9.2) , the screenshot that you have provided for volume section is not correct as brick directory provided is incorrect. As of now the brick directory is '/gluster_bricks/newvolbrick' where as it should be '/gluster_bricks/newvolbrick/newvolbrick because the brick should be inside the mount point. Once these two changes are done will move the bug to verified. In reply to #commnet47 I have cross verified the document and fixes are made hence moving the bug to verified state. |
Use Case Description: As a user, I want to view only the core set of RHHI 2.0 day-2-day operations so that my workflows are not cluttered and without significant risk. This use case requires the following documentation: (a) concept information that describes available day 2 operations with the Cockpit UI (b) task information that describes how to perform the following tasks with the Cockpit UI: -Visibility --List of nodes in POD under control (Arbiter awareness) --List VM's running on the POD --Gluster volume/brick statistics/status, LVMcache value, shard value, deduplication state -VM operations --Run VM --VM monitoring --Create (HA) (no Virtual Function I/O {VFIO }) --Delete VM --Update VM --Power VM --Pause VM --Resume VM -Scaling control --Visibility --Maximum scale limitation control -Virtual Data Optimizer (VDO) --Build VDO devices (RHEL-based only for partners, not end-users) --Deploy-time option to set deduplication/compression (ON or OFF, all data)
