Description Michel Normand 2018-03-05 16:20:30 UTC
Description of problem:
encrypted message on blue background for ppc64le
Initially reported as a PR#67 (1) but converted as this new bug after discussion with Adam Williamson (either Plymouth or systemd)

Refer to "install_simple_encrypted" test in openQA for ppc64le (2)

Problem initially reported with Rawhide compose 20180204 (2) and still have it on Fedora f28 compose 20180302 (but masked on openqa.stg.fedoraproject.org by still open bug#1546693)

(2) https://openqa.stg.fedoraproject.org/tests/236478#step/disk_guided_encrypted_postinstall/5

Comment 1 Michel Normand 2018-05-14 09:02:48 UTC
Problem still present on last Rawhide 20180513 for ppc64le, (no problem for ppc64 BE):

https://openqa.stg.fedoraproject.org/tests/303060#step/disk_guided_encrypted_postinstall/5 (failure for ppc64le)
https://openqa.stg.fedoraproject.org/tests/303017#step/disk_guided_encrypted_postinstall/1 (no failure for ppc64 BE)

Comment 2 Adam Williamson 2018-12-18 00:39:19 UTC
This seems to be fixed now - the openQA workaround needle for this hasn't matched for months, and on the most recent test, the screen shows up white-on-grey.
