Description Brent Eagles 2018-03-21 20:34:43 UTC
Description of problem:

radvd does not create or write the PID to the path provided with '-p' command line argument when using the '-n' option to prevent running as a daemon. This interferes with containerizing this service for use with OpenStack neutron.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1.9.2 of radvd

How reproducible: 100%

Steps to Reproduce:

Run radvd using both the -n and -p options

radvd -n -p /somepath/radvd.pid

Actual results:

radvd runs but does not write it's PID to the provided file

Expected results:

PID file created with the correct contents.
