+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1559998 +++

current rawhide build is not using the quick opt-out at the present time, but will soon.

And eventual transition to python3

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 29 development cycle.
Changing version to '29'.

Current 2.7.x packages in f29, f30 have #!/usr/bin/python2 shebangs

Current 2.8.x packages in f31, f32/rawhide have #!/usr/bin/python3 shebangs
