This message is a reminder that Fedora 27 is nearing its end of life. On 2018-Nov-30 Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 27. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '27'. Created attachment 1412960 [details] output of journalctl -k -b -1 Description of problem: Sometimes, while shutting down, the system simply prints the same kernel error, extremely rapidly; the system doesn't seem to progress towards shutting down, and I have to terminate it by holding down the power button. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.0.15 (as reported by dnf info xorg-x11-drv-nouveau) How reproducible: Seems to happen intermittently, not sure what causes it. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attempt to shut down computer. Actual results: System appears to print this message infinitely: Mar 25 21:30:33 hotness.localdomain systemd-journald[452]: Missed 38 kernel messages Mar 25 21:30:33 hotness.localdomain kernel: nouveau 0000:01:00.0: fifo: SCHED_ERROR 20 [] Expected results: System shuts down Additional info: Attaching output of journalctl and lspci. I didn't build the kernel or install any of the closed-source drivers from rpmfusion; it should just be the stock kernel.
