Is it possible to also display the virtual NIC driver backing this interface? > Is it possible to also display the virtual NIC driver backing this interface?
Hey Ron, do you mean like E1000/Vmxnet3/E1000E? We don't currently collect that data so we would have to add it to our schema in order to show it on the UI. A separate RFE for this would be great so we don't hold up getting this RFE in.

Hey Adam, yes exactly. Our customers have a requirement to know the backing virtual NIC driver. Thanks for the update, an separate RFE created here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1583017 for 5.10.0.3, I could see VMs NIC displayed following kind of info: 00:xx:xx:xx:dc:8b, VirtualVmxnet3, Default Adapter, Network:VM Network(Switch: vSwitch0) Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0212 |
