Description John Brier 2018-03-28 23:23:37 UTC
Description of problem:

In the man page for 'subscription-manager' it says the following:

   REPOS OPTIONS
The repos command lists all of the repositories that are available to a system. This command is
only used for organizations which have a locally-hosted content service of some kind, like Sub‐
scription Asset Manager. With Red Hat's hosted content service, there is only one central
       repository.

I have been told that repos is not special, i.e. it doesn't require a "locally-hosted content service." In fact, I have seen it work with RHSM.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

subscription-manager-1.20.10-1.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. man subscription-manager
2. /repos options
3. enter

Actual results:
text is wrong

Expected results:
text is not wrong

Additional info:

The man page is laid out well and very well written, but this wrong.

Thank you for opening the bug , we have moved this bug to RHEL 8 ( Bug 1920017 ) for addressing and due to the low severity nature of the bug we wont be able to ship a man page update in RHEL 7.

thanks,
Rehana
