Description Harshad More 2018-03-30 16:23:20 UTC
Description of problem:

6.3 Virtual Instances Guide missing steps to configure virt-who per hypervisor type

Document URL:

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.3/html-single/virtual_instances_guide/

Describe the issue:

There is no separate section created for guiding how to configure virt-who as per the hypervisor type

Suggestions for improvement:

See https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-satellite/6.2/paged/virtual-instances-guide/chapter-5-configuration-and-services

Here there is sub versions defined as per hypervisor type

Additional information:
In Satellite 6.3 UI there is wizard provided to configure virt-who but the same should be reflected in the document as well.
https://access.redhat.com/articles/3358981

try to keep it same as 6.2. i.e. detailed steps as per hypervisor type

Assigning to Russell for review.

Russell - there are a number of requests here, but I believe the main remaining ask for us is to provide a link to the Hammer CLI Guide from the section on creating a configuration file using Hammer to provide more context to users.

Kind regards,

Andrew
