I always forget about the branching.

Comment 11 Adam Williamson (Red Hat non-Fedora) 2018-04-05 18:22:29 UTC
The docker-compose maintainer is really at fault here. That package should express the versioned dependency on python-docker correctly (it does not), and the update should not have been pushed stable without a corresponding python-docker update first going stable. I've added a note on that update.

Comment 12 Anass Ahmed 2018-04-06 07:35:28 UTC
OK, I'm trying to understand the version difference between Fedora and Upstream, and I found this blog post but it didn't help: https://rhelblog.redhat.com/2016/10/31/understanding-docker-latest-package/

Why again we have different versions from upstream (even a year later from the version change)?

Comment 13 Tomas Tomecek 2018-04-06 08:07:55 UTC
Anass, this issue is about [docker-compose](https://github.com/docker/compose), not [docker engine](https://github.com/projectatomic/docker). Please don't confuse those two projects, they are completely different things.

Comment 14 Anass Ahmed 2018-04-06 08:29:32 UTC
Sorry, I know they're different but I thought the confusion in versioning is what happened here too.

Anyway, I'm still curious about the versioning deviation between upstream and project atomic! :D
