Description Bernhard Ege 2000-08-07 13:05:37 UTC
In kernel 2.2.16-17, the SG driver has introduced a bug, which is easily
removed. The bug concerns the communication with the sym53c416 isa scsi
card. It can be remedied by applying the 2.1.39 patch found here:

http://www.torque.net/sg/

Kernel 2.2.16-17 is using the 2.1.38 SG driver, however patching to 2.1.39
would not be a risk (according to the documentation given at that link).

Bernhard Ege
