Description Leslie Satenstein 2018-04-04 20:56:29 UTC
Description of problem:

Using Gnome, on a desktop computer (not a laptop)
network installation of Fedora-28-workstation Beta version 1.3

I am using vi, I have to break for a meeting.
I log out.
I return after an hour and log in.
Session starts, but as I enter vi, system enters suspend mode

exiting suspend via "flicking/pulsing" power button is successful to awake the desktop.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Gnome 3.28

How reproducible:

As described.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

See above

Expected results:

Suspend should not activate as this is a desktop. F28 Gnome should function in suspend management as it does with F27.

Additional info:

Blank screen setting: 15 minutes

I will be testing F28 KDE, installed via Network install iso. Whether KDE is OK or NOT, I will post results.
