Do you have git package installed?

Command executed by OpenShift looks ok, any version of git should be able to handle "git clone https://github.com/chao007/ruby_koans/tree/master/koans".

I can use `git clone https://github.com/chao007/ruby_koans` on the node server

After install the git package, the pod is running on the 
openshift v3.10.0-0.47.0
kubernetes v1.10.0+b81c8f8
