Description David Arcari 2018-04-17 18:49:36 UTC
Description of problem:

It appears that the maintainer for cpuid has abandoned support for the command. The last update was February 2017.

cpuid shipped in RHEL6.9, as well as RHEL-7.3, 7.4 and 7.5 and was planned for RHEL8. However, given the lack of upstream support, it is important to inform our customers that the command will not be available in future releases.

Moving to ON_QA. This is a documentation only effort.
