Description of problem:
Complains about "MAKEDEV: mkdir mumble" and then hangs on "Initializing hardware..."
Machine works fine with the original kernel from FC4t2 (just installed, hung
after updating). SATA disk, IDE DVD burner.

How reproducible:
Tried it twice...
