Prior to this update, the Libreswan suite ignored Dead Peer Detection (DPD) responses on idle connections. As a consequence, idle tunnels were accidentally restarted by the remote peer. Handling of liveness responses has been fixed, and idle tunnels are no longer accidentally restarted.
