Description adam.pietrzyk93@gmail.com 2018-05-05 07:31:07 UTC
Description of problem:
The following problem is reported by the problem manager but the only problem that is seen is that for some time there is no video output on the external screen connected by the display port.
The used video card is AMD FirePro M2000.

To be noted:

I dont know if there is a connection between these facts, but I had to reinstall Fedora 28 with cinnamon desktop recently because Cinnamon was not able to start properly after booting. It was always crashing and going to failsafe mode. After the reinstallation the problem is not occuring.

*********** MASS BUG UPDATE **************

We apologize for the inconvenience. There are a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 28 kernel bugs.

Fedora 28 has now been rebased to 4.17.7-200.fc28. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.

If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
