Description of problem:
As discussed in the Bug 1523458, option [-f fmt] should be added for resize in the qemu-img manpage. 
Also, John Snow has sent an upstream patch to add -f fmt documentation for resize in the man page: http://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/qemu-block/2018-05/msg00108.html

Hi, it's too late to fix this for 7.6, but as it's been fixed upstream we'll pick it up on next release; my apologies.
