Comment 6 Jeff Cantrill 2018-05-14 13:43:09 UTC
The issue is we check if the template already exists and skip loading if it does. This means the new deployment will not take advantage of the template change. Work around is to delete the existing templates and either restart the pod to load them or load them manually.

Comment 7 Lukas Vlcek 2018-05-15 09:55:54 UTC
Added link to external trackers list (PR openshift/origin-aggregated-logging/pull/1168)

Comment 8 Jeff Cantrill 2018-05-16 20:40:13 UTC
Retargeting 3.9.z as 3.10 is not released yet.

Comment 10 Anping Li 2018-05-30 10:03:44 UTC
Verified and pass with openshift3/logging-elasticsearch/images/v3.9.30-1. The alias .all are added when index in created. The old index without .all alias need to be updated manually.
