Description Steve Brown 2018-05-15 16:45:56 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Installed digikam on RHEL 7.5 server from 'latest' EPEL repository for RHEL 7.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. acquire and enable EPEL repository
2. yum install digikam
3. start digikam

Actual results:

digikam starts, no problem, except I notice it's an old version (4.10.0).

Expected results:

I expected a later version since I am currently using 5.7.0 of digikam on my Windows PC.

Additional info:

* EPEL repository was recommended by Red Hat support.
* Requesting a 'version bump' here was recommended by someone on Fedora's question forum.

I would appreciate a later version of digikam being made available in the EPEL repository.

Thank you.

Steve

rhel7/epel7 was missing some dependencies for newer releases last I checked, but it's been awhile, so we can consider trying a again.

Just following up -- I still have the same version as when I submitted this request.
