Description Stephen John Smoogen 2018-05-31 21:53:08 UTC
Description of problem:

Please branch python-maxminddb to EPEL-7 . I am willing to be added as a maintainer

Comment 1 Lumír Balhar 2018-06-05 12:00:55 UTC
Just requested a new branch for the package: https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/6908

It would be nice to maintain only one specfile in all branches so you can try to prepare it and send a PR. What do you think?

Comment 2 Carl George 🤠 2018-06-12 14:42:33 UTC
I agree about maintaining one spec file. I have submitted the necessary changes in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-maxminddb/pull-request/2. That can be merged to master, and then master can be merged to the epel7 branch. I'm happy to take care of this myself if added as a maintainer.

Rawhide: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=27589203
EPEL: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=27589349

I'll add you as a maintainer.
