[RFE]  Dialog box pop up  when Package Installation, Removal and Update on Host Collections

3. What is the nature and description of the request?  

In satellite 6.3 web UI we go to Hosts > Host Collections > select a host collection > click on Package Installation, Removal, and Update 

By doing so we are able to install/update/delete the packages mentioned in the package name box. There should be confirmation pop window open up, while doing a install/update/delete of a package, that lists the packages that are effected with respect to the content hosts.


4. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)  

The customer wants this feature request so that in future any one new with dialog boxes and satellite will have idea what changes will be implemented on the content hosts.

5. How would the customer like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)  

Add confirmation dialog box that lists the packages with the full name that are effected with respect to the content hosts while installing/updating/deleting the packages on the host collection.

As the customer requester, the reason for this request is that particular dialog box has potentially destructive consequences across many systems.  Destructive actions should have a clear confirmation.  Coupled with Bug 1264138, it means there is no clarity before the actions in this dialog box nor after actions taken with this dialog box.

 If it as consequential as described, then I agree, there should be some confirmation of what it is affecting.

However, instead of another modal (since action is already housed in a modal), we could change "Done" to "Next" which could load the affected packages. 

We do something similar on the Hosts page when a user chooses to delete Hosts. A confirmation modal appears.

I'm bumping this trying to keep it active and I voted up.  The reason again is this system controls many systems and patching can be destructive, thus there needs to be clarification before commit.
