QA Note: A snapshot is a frozen moment in time view of a volume. An easy way to
test that the UI has created a snapshot is to create an LV, and then save a text
file to it...then create a snapshot of the LV. Next, change the text file and
save the changes. Finally, mount the snapshot somewhere and check that the file
is in its original state.
