1. docker on epel6 is a totally unrelated package. The containerization tool on epel6 is still under its older name 'docker-io'.

2. I see that docker-io hasn't been updated in almost 3 years. The last version was 1.7.1. See: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/docker-io/blob/el6/f/docker-io.spec#_390 . That tells me that this CVE fix isn't relevant there.

CLOSED NOTABUG. Please reopen if you think that's wrong..

I think it's best to retire docker-io on epel6.
