Description Mohan Boddu 2018-07-19 19:41:33 UTC
fes failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=28177041

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_29_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix fes at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
fes will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 30,
fes will be retired, if it still fails to build.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 29 development cycle.
Changing version to '29'.

Comment 5 Jerry James 2019-02-18 22:18:06 UTC
It took some major surgery, but I updated fes to version 0.2 and fixed a host of build issues. On the plus side, fes can now be built for both 32- and 64-bit x86. It does contain x86-specific code, however, so still cannot be built for other arches.
