Muting headphone jack sense solves the problem |
Description of problem: system-config-soundcard doesent output sound on a test run heres the shelloutput of the tool: system-config-soundcard amixer: Unable to find simple control 'PCM-2',0 amixer: Unable to find simple control 'DRC Range',0 Playing WAVE '/usr/share/system-config-soundcard/sound-sample.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100 Hz, Stereo Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. run system-config-soundcard 2. click on "play test sound" 3. miss the actual sound output Actual results: no sound output Expected results: sound output Additional info: i am somewhat unsure if this should be filed against kernel but it would be nice to see it moved to the responsible package here.
