Description of problem:
Not able to validate credentials for AMQP event.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.9.4.4

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to Compute > Clouds > Providers.
2. Try to add provider with event AMQP.
3. Validate.

Actual results:
Validation fails with a flash error message:
"Credential validation was not successful: undefined method `strip' for nil:NilClass"

Expected results:
Credentials must be validated successfully.

Do the logs have any additional information -- stacktrace, log warnings or errors related to the flash message, etc.?

After investigating and starting to work on a solution, I just realized that this is a duplicate BZ and a solution is already in progress for that bz:
