This message is a reminder that Fedora 28 is nearing its end of life. On 2019-May-28 Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 28. Fedora 30 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. Created attachment 1479018 [details] video of darkened terminal window Description of problem: The focused window (always a gnome terminal in my case) is darkened after resuming from the 'blank screen' without being in the 'lock screen'. This seems to only happen if you use the setting 'Lock screen after blank for' so that the screen can go blank, but it doesn't require login to resume. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): F28 How reproducible: Intermittent/Not reliably reproducible Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable the power setting 'Blank Screen' 2. Wait for the screen to go blank 3. Click the mouse/tap the keyboard for the computer to wake up Actual results: See attached video Expected results: All windows are displayed normally (not darkened). Additional info: Nouveau driver with Wayland Sorry if this is the wrong project to report against.
