Description of problem:
Cu is under the impression that the KVM guest image found at:
~~~
https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/69/ver=/rhel---7/7.5/x86_64/product-software
~~~
should be ready to deploy in private KVM or
OpenStack environment, without making any modifications.
But, currently, Cu sees an invalid DNS server entry for 192.168.122.1 in /etc/resolv.conf:
~~~
cat /etc/resolv.conf
; Created by cloud-init on instance boot automatically, do not edit.
;
# Generated by NetworkManager
nameserver 192.168.122.1
nameserver 72.x.x.x
nameserver 72.x.x.x
~~~
Cu considering this as a flaw in the image, as it blocks deployment and causes network slowdowns.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhel 7.5 guest kvm image
Actual results:
Invalid dns entry present in rhel7.5 guest image
Expected results:
Remove the invalid DNS entry from rhel7.5 image
