Confirmed, this is odd since it only happens with Jupiter. I will report the problem upstream. Meanwhile I've found that if you click a couple of time on the status bar button "Show phase and shadow" the texture will be showed. This message is a reminder that Fedora 27 is nearing its end of life. On 2018-Nov-30 Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 27. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '27'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 34 development cycle. Changing version to 34. Unfortunately, upstream choose to focus support only on Windows package through wine. I have retired the package from Fedora repos. |

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Virtual Planet 2. Select Jupiter under Planets 3. See no Planet Actual results: See no planet in the Window only white on black lettering Expected results: See Jupiter in full daylight. Additional info: Don't know if Jupiter is eclipsed by Saturn or what.
