Description Michael Redinger 2000-08-15 15:33:12 UTC
/etc/init.d/function uses /usr/bin/head in pidofproc() which is used by
killproc() which again is used to shutdown sylog. As syslog is shutdown
after the unmount of net filesystems (S12syslog, S25netfs), the syslog
shutdown fails if /usr is on NFS.

Crud, this has been broken for a while. Thanks for catching
this - will be fixed in initscripts-5.45-1. (The rpm one will be trickier....)
