Description Miro Hrončok 2018-09-10 14:04:04 UTC
In line with the Mass Python 2 Package Removal [0], all (sub)packages of supybot-koji were marked for removal:

 * supybot-koji

According to our query, those packages only provide a Python 2 importable module. If this is not true, please tell us why, so we can fix our query.

Please retire your package in Rawhide (Fedora 30).

If there is no objection in a week, we will retire the package for you.

We hope this doesn't come to you as a surprise. If you want to know our motivation for this, please read the change document [0].

I have switched Limnoria over to python3 in rawhide/f30, and it's my hope that we can port this plugin to python3 instead of retiring it. Help welcome.

Where's upstream?

Spec lists https://fedorahosted.org/supybot-fedora (not -koji)

Pagure has https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/supybot-koji but that looks very much like supybot-fedora anyway.

Comment 3 Kevin Fenzi 2018-09-14 22:49:33 UTC
https://github.com/fedora-infra/supybot-fedora

is upstream.

No porting has been done. Retire?

Comment 5 Miro Hrončok 2019-05-11 23:47:09 UTC
OK, let's retire this in a ~week.
