Description Jeff Largent 2000-08-15 21:14:21 UTC
On boot if a drive has to many errors to fix, you are prompted for
root password to fix drive or Ctrl-D for regular boot.
If you enter root passwd the system reboots as if you had entered
CTRL-D. Resulting in still having a drive with to many errors, and
the same prompt with no way to fix. Slackware rescue disk scores
another save.

fixed in the bash package currently in rawhide.
