It is not the job of the browser to configure your mail client -- the browser has no knowledge and should not have knowledge as to what you have installed -- that is more of a desktop OS level thing. Asking the user to input commands for their mail client is not cool, either. You can configure your mail client in the gnome-default-applications-properties dialog which is a system level setting that other applications should respect. |
