@James Ettle: I've found the problem to be in Rawtherapee configuration file.
Please check your ~/.config/RawTherapee/options file, as a workaround you can try to apply the change I described in https://github.com/Beep6581/RawTherapee/issues/4828#issuecomment-423808172
