Description Kyle Walker 2018-09-24 19:37:50 UTC
Description of problem:
The RPM specfile indicates the following:

    395 %ghost %dir %attr(0755, -, -) /run/lsm/
    396 %ghost %dir %attr(0755, -, -) /run/lsm/ipc

 However, the tmpfiles configuration indicates:

    D /var/run/lsm 0775 root libstoragemgmt -
    D /var/run/lsm/ipc 0775 root libstoragemgmt -

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
 libstoragemgmt-1.6.1-2.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:
 Easily

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install libstoragemgmt-1.6.1-2.el7.x86_64

2. Verify the permissions of /var/run/lsm/ and /var/run/lsm/ipc/

3. Issue the following to simulate tmpfiles running during a reboot
    /usr/bin/systemd-tmpfiles --create --remove --boot --exclude-prefix=/dev

4. Verify the permissions of /var/run/lsm/ and /var/run/lsm/ipc/

Actual results:
 Prior the systemd-tmpfiles creation:
    # ls -l /var/run/lsm/ -d /var/run/lsm/ipc/
    drwxr-xr-x. 3 root root 60 Sep 24 15:22 /var/run/lsm/
    drwxr-xr-x. 2 root root 80 Sep 24 15:22 /var/run/lsm/ipc/

 After the systemd-tmpfiles creation:
    # ls -l /var/run/lsm/ -d /var/run/lsm/ipc/
    drwxrwxr-x. 3 root libstoragemgmt 60 Sep 24 15:34 /var/run/lsm/
    drwxrwxr-x. 2 root libstoragemgmt 40 Sep 24 15:34 /var/run/lsm/ipc/

Expected results:
 Prior the systemd-tmpfiles creation:
    # ls -l /var/run/lsm/ -d /var/run/lsm/ipc/
    drwxr-xr-x. 3 root libstoragemgmt 60 Sep 24 15:22 /var/run/lsm/
    drwxr-xr-x. 2 root libstoragemgmt 80 Sep 24 15:22 /var/run/lsm/ipc/

 After the systemd-tmpfiles creation:
    # ls -l /var/run/lsm/ -d /var/run/lsm/ipc/
    drwxrwxr-x. 3 root libstoragemgmt 60 Sep 24 15:34 /var/run/lsm/
    drwxrwxr-x. 2 root libstoragemgmt 40 Sep 24 15:34 /var/run/lsm/ipc/
