Since the CVE only affects file containing specially crafted, corrupt, DWARF debug information, it will never affect normal users or developers. Since the only thing that the CVE can do is to make the tool using the BFD library terminate with a segmentation fault, it is not serious to be worth backporting a fix to F28. *** Bug 1632916 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
