Description Andreas Wacknitz 2000-08-16 13:40:13 UTC
the autorun package generates periodic syslog messages
"VFS: Disk change detected on device sr(11,0)" if no medium is inserted.

Comment 1 Preston Brown 2000-08-16 17:36:25 UTC
I would assume this is a side-effect of the IDE subsystem and will be a WONTFIX
but I need some more opinions.

Comment 2 Michael K. Johnson 2000-08-16 19:27:41 UTC
Current kernel sources have this fixed -- any build later
than -21.1 will have the message simply commented out.
