After gdb got updated to gdb-8.2.50.20180917-1.fc30 (or 8.3pre), test_gdb from python's upstream test suite fails.

Update to Python 3.7.1rc1 does not solve it.

gdb has been in version gdb-8.2.50.20190120-13.fc30.x86_64 (bz#1638798). The package has no been pushed to mirrors yet: there is an issue with Compose, but it's going to be in the mirrors soon.

With the gdb fix, "py-bt" command works in gdb to dump the Python traceback as expected, and test_gdb (of the master branch of Python) works as expected.

python3.spec now runs test_gdb again ( https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python3/pull-request/89 has been merged).
