PS: I found http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=270376 via google,
which might be related.

Additional notes:
- I also tried pci=usepirqmask: also fails
- there are snd_* errors because I disabled the sound in modprobe.conf

I saw in the 2.6.13-rc6 log that some work on yenta and PCI had been done. So I
tried kernel 2.6.12-1.1456_FC5, and I got it to work but only with the irqpoll
option.
You can close this bug then.
