Dear Maintainer,

your package has not been built successfully in f30. Action is required from you.

If you can fix your package to build, perform a build in koji, and either create
an update in bodhi, or close this bug without creating an update, if updating is
not appropriate [1]. If you are working on a fix, set the status to ASSIGNED to
acknowledge this. Following the latest policy for such packages [2], your package
can be orphaned if this bug remains in NEW state more than 8 weeks.

A week before the mass branching of Fedora 31 according to the schedule [3],
any packages which still have open FTBFS bugs from Fedora 30 will be retired.

Comment 9 Christian Krause 2019-07-28 18:17:45 UTC
For python3, version 3.23.4 would be required. However, even this version does not compile since autoconf does not use pkg-config for Python.h and so the "unusual" path used by Fedora (/usr/include/python3.7m) is not found.

However, there is not much upstream activity since a few years.

Last stable version (3.22.2) is from 2013: http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/solfege/
Last unstable version (3.23.4) is from 2016: https://sourceforge.net/projects/solfege/files/solfege-unstable/
Last git commit corresponds with the 3.23.4 release: http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/solfege.git

I propose to retire it from Fedora. In order to give someone else a chance to maintain it further, I'll orphan it now. If no one picks it up, it will get automatically retired.
