Description Benjamin Tissoires 2018-10-19 13:57:37 UTC
Would it be possible to enable the pinctrl-cannonlake driver in rawhide (and v4.19 when it goes into f29)?

See https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199911, without this driver enabled the touchscreen on some new HP laptop is not functional.

I am only requesting for v4.19+ as v4.18 suffers from a bug in pinctrl-cannonlake which kills the touchpad of those HP machines (note that the patches can be easily backported to v4.18 too).

config string to change: CONFIG_PINCTRL_CANNONLAKE=m

I've turned it on in this morning's Rawhide build and I'll pull it back to F29 with the v4.19 rebase.
