imap-4.5-2 will not allow any user to log in pop-3 as far as I can tell... Here are /var/log/maillog results: Apr 5 13:41:48 gandalf ipop3d[32647]: port 110 service init from 127.0.0.1 Apr 5 13:41:52 gandalf ipop3d[32647]: Login failure user=dale host=localhost [127.0.0.1] Apr 5 13:41:58 gandalf ipop3d[32647]: Logout user=dale host=localhost [127.0.0.1] Downgrading to imap-4.4-4.i386.rpm seems to work fine though. Fixed for RH 6.0. |
