Description Krist van Besien 2018-10-25 05:48:27 UTC
Description of problem:

When doing a hosted engine deployment wizzard it is not possible to deselect the thinp checkbox.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHHI 2.0
RHVH 2.4.6

How reproducible:

always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install RHVH 2.4.6
2. Start a hyperconverged hosted engine deploy.
3. At the brick setup form change the device for the "engine" brick to something else than the proposed device. The "thinp" check box is automatically ticked. Try to un-tick it.

Actual results:

Cannot un-tick the thinp checkbox.

Expected results:

Can un-tick the thinp checkbox.

Additional info:

For the hosted engine volume it is recommended to not use thinp volumes. The default values you get presented with when you get to the brick configution form do reflect that. Howeve as soon as you change the device for the engine bricks to something else thinp is enabled, and you cannot disable it...

Gobinda, can you take a look and clone if needed?

Tested with cockpit-ovirt-dashboard-0.11.37.

engine brick is created with thick LV, although there is no option for the user to opt for thinp and that's the recommendation
