Description of problem:
When trying to access an application, the following things can occur:
* Browser reports an error "secure connection failed"
* Connection times out
* Application loads, but only after a very long time. After this, the application responds very slowly and usually the connection is lost after a short while
* the appliction logging shows "SSL peer shut down incorrectly" errors

The router pods seem to be restarting a lot, too.

How reproducible:
Unclear, it's only been happening on this specific cluster and we can't tell when or why.
