Description Tim Waugh 2005-07-28 15:22:41 UTC
Description of problem:
In some configurations, system-config-printer needs to identify which IP address
is assigned to a particular interface, and to do this it uses rhpl:

                    ips = rhpl.ethtool.get_ipaddr (dev)

Unfortunately SELinux 'targeted' policy denies this, and as a result the
configuration is incorrect and does not allow clients to connect on that interface.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
selinux-policy-targeted-1.25.3-6

How reproducible:
100%

Attached is the patch that fixes it.
