Hi While I do believe this issue is likely already resolved in the more recent upstream package for RHEL7 branch - as there was a rework for scanning and it would be nice to checkout 7.6 package present in repo - to chase the cause of failure - it would be probably better to try out running this particular failing command withing 'valgrind' to capture the places where the memory has been initially corrupted - as this trap is likely catching side-defects of that. So please is it possible to provide us a trace out of 'valgrind' execution? (preferably with valgrind options: --malloc-fill=aa --free-fill=ee --max-stackframe=300000 --leak-check=full --track-origins=yes --show-reachable=yes When we ran it with valgrind, it succeeded. Description of problem: When we lvcreate -s -n foo pool0/bar we get the backgrace shown below.
