Created attachment 1502648 [details]
Click Edit after selected bucket

Description of problem:
After a new RGW Bucket has been created, when Edit button is clicked, the same form as for creating a new bucket is shown, hence not allowing to edit any existing bucket.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ceph-common-12.2.8-23.el7cp.x86_64
ceph-ansible-3.2.0-0.1.beta9.el7cp.noarch
ceph-mgr-12.2.8-23.el7cp.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install ceph storage with minimum 3 mgr hosts
2.Install "dashboard v2" by running ansible playbook
3.Login to dashboard after installation of dashboard v2
4.Go to Object GW->Buckets menu.
5.Create new bucket.
6.Select created bucket and click on 'Edit' button.

Actual results:
'Add bucket' form appears.

Expected results:
'Edit bucket' form appears.

Comment 2 Alfonso Martínez 2018-11-07 15:44:09 UTC
Upstream fix:

https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/24757

Comment 3 Ernesto Puerta 2018-11-26 12:55:50 UTC
The upstream fix is entangled with new functionality (Nautilus specific), which makes it impossible to cleanly backport. A separate fix will be crafted downstream-only.
